Michelle Storm has been a Physician Assistant for 24 years. She’s a graduate of The Tri-Service Military PA program through the University of Nebraska. She is a combat veteran after serving in Afghanistan just following 911. She went on to retire as a Major in the US Army Reserves, giving her the name ‘Major Storm” which always generate a small smile or chuckle.
Although she has worked in various areas of medicine throughout her career, she receives the most gratification when she can guide patients through the process of advocating for their own health and becoming the best version of themselves! “We are living in a time when patients want to feel heard, they want knowledge, and they want options to get healthy”. Trust is hard. Michelle is genuine and quickly forms a trusting relationship with patients.
Michelle and her husband moved to Texas 6 years ago, just long enough to develop a Texas pride and ability to “smack talk” to many of her NY friends. She and her husband have 6 children and Michelle spends most of her spare time with family looking for ways to explore the outdoors. She is passionate about foster care and adoption and has adopted 4 children herself. She is active at church, where she serves on the medical team and teaches 5th grade.
Medical challenges and thinking outside the box are fun for her. Having done conventional western medicine and crossing over to a more natural approach gives her multiple tools to pull from. She would love to meet with you and develop a plan, giving you practical options to optimize your health.
When asked what her favorite thing is to treat, she would say. “Hormones of any kind since they give you the biggest improvement. After that, with fine tuning, we narrow in on what other custom fit treatments give various other percentages of improvement. Sometimes it is gut health, supplements, peptides, minerals, weight loss, or other alternative products”.
